Linux System Administrator

Job Title: Linux System Administrator
Salary: $10/Hr

Job Description:

We are hiring linux administrators who have hands-on experience in troubleshooting various issues in Linux servers. As a linux system administrator, you will be providing technical support to our customers via live chats and helpdesk in 24 x 7 x 365 days work environment.

As a linux administrator, you will be responsible to troubleshoot clients’ issues with their linux server, control panel, web server, mail server etc. You will be responsible to provide required assistance to your shift members. You must be willing to work in shifts (including night shift and holidays).

Skills Required:

Fundamentals: DNS, Networking, TCP/UDP, IP Routing

Protocols: HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP, IMAP

Database: MySQL, MariaDB

Control Panel: cPanel/WHM, Plesk

Mail Server: Exim, Postfix

FTP Server: ProFTPd

Script: Any of PERL/Python/Ruby/Bash/PHP

Responsibilities:

Monitor the stability of clients’ servers with various internal tools.

Monitor & review server backups (R1Soft CDP).

Must be able to understand and troubleshoot Bash/PERL/Ruby/Python/PHP script issue.

Must have hands-on experience in DNS, networking, TCP/UDP, IP routing, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, POP, IMAP etc.

Handle incident response, troubleshooting and resolve the issues.

Technical Support Executive

Job Description:

We urgently require Web Hosting Technical Support Executives for L1 / L2 / L3 level support with full time employment. As a linux system administrator, you will be providing technical support to our customers via live chats and helpdesk in 24 x 7 x 365 days work environment.

As a Web Hosting Support Technician you will be providing technical assistance to our customers via live chats and helpdesk in 24 x 7 x 365 days work environment.

Skills Required:

Excellent customer service skill with strong understanding on Linux Server Administration, Datacenter operations, Windows Server, Virtualization, Cloud hosting, eMail Server and Service, FTP, DNS, CPanel, WHM, Plesk, WebsitePanel, IIS and Apache Webservers, Billing system like WHMCS.

Strong analytic and troubleshooting ability

 

Responsibilities:

Monitor & review server backups (R1Soft CDP).

Troubleshoot of technical and non-technical issues customers.

Process client orders and provisioning VPS & Dedicated Servers.
Schedule and apply software and Operating System patches and updates as directed.
