My Domain Isn’t Pointing to My Website

Your domain isn't loading your WebFulHost website. Work through this checklist to find out why.

You've signed up for WebFulHost, changed nameservers, and yet your domain still shows nothing — or another site, or an error. This is the most common question new hosting customers have. Work through this checklist in order.

1. Give propagation time first

Nameserver changes take time to spread. Before troubleshooting anything else, confirm at least 24 hours (ideally 48) have passed since the change. From a device on a different network — your phone on mobile data, not your home Wi-Fi — visit your domain. If it loads there, you're mostly waiting on caches. See DNS Propagation Explained.

2. Confirm the nameservers are correct

Log into your registrar and check the domain's nameservers. They should be exactly:

ns1.sitetheidea.com
ns2.sitetheidea.com

A common mistake is leaving a trailing dot, a space, or the registrar's own nameservers still in place. They need to be the only two entries.

3. Check what the domain resolves to

From a command prompt (Windows) run nslookup yourdomain.com. You should see ns1.sitetheidea.com or ns2.sitetheidea.com under the nameserver section. If you see a different provider, the nameservers haven't updated yet or are entered wrong.

4. Verify the website's A record

If the nameservers are correct but the site won't load, check the A record for your domain in cPanel's Zone Editor. It must point at the server WebFulHost assigned you. If a previous host left records pointing at their server, the domain resolves there instead. Your server's IP address is the one in your welcome email — confirm it once your account is provisioned, and make sure the A record matches it.

5. Clear caches on the device you're testing

  • Hard-refresh your browser (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac).
  • Flush the local DNS cache: ipconfig /flushdns on Windows, dscacheutil -flushcache on macOS.
  • Try a different network, or a public resolver query tool.

6. Still not working? Contact support

If you've run through all of this and more than 48 hours have passed, submit a ticket to WebFulHost support. Include your domain name, the date you changed the nameservers, and a screenshot of the nameserver settings at your registrar — that gives us everything we need to diagnose it quickly.
