This guide connects your WebFulHost mailbox to the Outlook desktop app on Windows or Mac. The newer Outlook for Windows and Outlook for Mac share a similar flow, so these steps work across both — look for Add account.
Start with automatic setup
- Open Outlook, and go to File (or the Outlook settings gear) > Add Account. If Outlook just opened, it may prompt you directly.
- Enter your full email address (e.g. name@yourdomain.com) and click Connect.
- Outlook will try to auto-discover the server settings. When prompted, enter your email password.
- Wait for the "account configured" message and click Done.
Automatic setup works for most WebFulHost accounts. If it spins and then fails, use manual setup below.
Manual setup (IMAP)
- In Add Account, choose Advanced setup > IMAP.
- Fill in the boxes using your mailbox details:
Email address: name@yourdomain.com Password: the mailbox password created in cPanel Incoming server (IMAP): mail.yourdomain.com Port: 993 SSL Outgoing server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com Port: 465 SSL Username: name@yourdomain.com Require authentication: yes — full email as username
Enter the exact values from the settings reference if your hostname differs.
- Complete the wizard. Outlook will test settings and sign in. A password prompt for the SMTP server may appear — enter the same email password and tick "remember".
Send a test email
Send a message from Outlook to a second address you control (like your Gmail) and check it arrives. If sending fails, see Email Not Sending — Troubleshooting.
