How to Set Up Email on Android

You can add your WebFulHost mailbox to the built-in Android Mail app or to the Gmail app. Both use the same IMAP settings. Gmail's steps are below; the Mail app's "Other email" option works almost identically.

Add to the Gmail app

1. Open the Gmail app and tap your profile picture > Add another account > Other.
2. Enter your full email address (name@yourdomain.com) and tap Next.
3. Enter your password and tap Next. Gmail will first try automatic setup.
4. If auto-detection works, you're done. If not, choose IMAP on the setup form and enter the values below.

Manual IMAP settings (if prompted)

INCOMING SERVER
IMAP server:      mail.yourdomain.com
Port:             993
Security:         SSL/TLS
Username:         name@yourdomain.com
Password:         the mailbox password

OUTGOING SERVER (SMTP)
SMTP server:      mail.yourdomain.com
Port:             465  (or 587 with TLS)
Security:         SSL/TLS
Require sign-in:  Yes — same username and password

Tap Next and wait for "Checking incoming server settings" and then "Checking outgoing server settings". When both pass, tap Done.

Prefer the default Android Mail app?

1. Open Mail > the three-line menu > Settings > Add account > Other email.
2. Enter your email and password, then tick the boxes for incoming and outgoing "manual setup", entering the same settings as above.
